Why can I get paid for having a hotspot?

    How Carrier Offloading Works

Think of your internet as an extra lane on the highway. Normally, all mobile phone traffic goes through the cell towers of big carriers (like AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile). But those towers can get crowded.

Westroads Investments has agreements with Carrier Offloading firms that let carriers “offload” some of that traffic to local hotspots like the one we install in your business. Here’s how it works:

    1. Phones connect nearby

      • When a customer with a supported carrier is in your business, their phone can automatically connect through your Mobile Hotspot instead of a busy cell tower.

    2. Data gets carried securely

      • The hotspot carries their data (like texts, app use, or browsing) using your internet. It’s safe, private, and encrypted; you never see their info.

    3. Carriers save money & improve service

      • By routing traffic through Mobile Hotspots, carriers can reduce strain on their networks and give customers stronger coverage indoors.

    4. You get rewarded

      • Every time real mobile data passes through your hotspot, the agreements we have in place issues rewards. We handle all of the technical side keeping the equipment tuned and we convert those rewards into cash.

      • You then get your share of the revenue each month, simple and hassle-free.
